EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR DENIM

Did you know the denim production process has a big impact on the environment?

• Wash less. You don’t need to wash your jeans every time you wear them—really! This will add YEARS to your denim.
• Wash inside-out in cold water. This will help preserve the dyes and finishing techniques you love about your favorite pair.
• Avoid the dryer. The heat can break down denim fibers faster. Instead, let your jeans air dry after washing.
• Repair before you replace! Bring your well-worn blues to a tailor or follow some of our upcycling hacks from American Butt Clothing before you toss them aside.
• Recycle! By turning in your denim at Chicago Ridge Mall this season, we can extend the life of discarded denim.
