Salvation Army Angel Tree
Friday, November 13 – Monday, December 7
Trees are located in Center Court
Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child has been registered as an Angel, their Christmas wish list is shared with donors in our community who purchase gifts of new clothing and toys. The gifts are distributed to the family to place under their family Christmas tree.
This year Chicago Ridge Mall will be putting up TWO trees. We invite shoppers to share the spirit of the season and adopt an individual from one of these two Salvation Army Angel Trees.
The trees are decorated with angel tags, containing the wish list of a registered angel. The angel tags are printed with an Angel’s name, age, gender, gift requests and a code number. Each person who selects a tag, purchases a gift or gifts for his/her Angel and returns the gift or gifts, unwrapped, to Chicago Ridge Mall.
Gift drop off will be located either at the Mall Office across the restrooms in the food court or next to the Security Desk which is located next to AMC. Gifts can also be returned to The Salvation Army where they are sorted by their code numbers and distributed to the individuals with the address on the tag.
